Is Your Computer Office 2013 friendly?

Windows XP could become obsolete with the launch of Windows new Office 2013 suite. The system requirements state that Windows XP and Vista are not supported, so users will need to switch to Windows 7 or 8 in order to take advantage of the upgrade. Along with a software upgrade, Microsoft 7 requires a hardware upgrade. The computer will need to include 1GHZ processor, 1GB of RAM for the 32-bit version and 2GB for the 64 bit version and at least 3GB of free storage space to install the software. A screen resolution of at least 1024 x 576 pixels is also required. Users will also benefit from changing their emails service from Lotus Notes to Outlook, which is part of the Office 2013 suite. Although many Vista users have upgraded to Windows 7, there are still a large amount of computers with Microsoft XP installed that haven’t changed their operating systems.
